Allow camera & microphone access

Give your browser permission to use your camera and microphone for video calls.

Chrome

  1. In the call page, select the lock icon in the address bar.

  2. Set Camera and Microphone to Allow, then reload the page.

  3. If still blocked: Chrome menu → Settings → Privacy and security → Site settings → Camera / Microphone → allow Grandist.

Safari (macOS)

  1. With the call page open, go to Safari menu → Settings for This Website.

  2. Set Camera and Microphone to Allow, then reload.

  3. If macOS asks, open System Settings → Privacy & Security → Camera / Microphone and allow Safari.

Firefox

  1. When prompted, choose Allow for Camera and Microphone.

  2. To change later: select the lock icon → Permissions → Allow.

  3. You can also check Firefox Settings → Privacy & Security → Permissions.

Microsoft Edge

  1. Select the lock icon in the address bar.

  2. Set Camera and Microphone to Allow, then reload.

  3. Or go to Edge Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Camera / Microphone → allow Grandist.

Allow access (mobile)

iPhone/iPad – Safari: On the call page tap aAWebsite Settings → set Camera and Microphone to Allow, then reload. Or go to Settings → Safari → Camera/Microphone → Allow.

iPhone/iPad – Chrome: On the call page tap the lock icon → Permissions → allow Camera/Microphone. If you don’t see it, open Settings (iOS) → Chrome → Camera/Microphone → Allow, then reload.

Android – Chrome: On the call page tap the lock icon → PermissionsCamera/Microphone → Allow. Or go to Chrome → Settings → Site settings → Camera/Microphone and allow grandist.com.

Android – Edge: Tap the lock icon → Site settings → allow Camera/Microphone. Or Edge → Settings → Site permissions → Camera/Microphone.

Android – Firefox: Tap the lock icon on the address bar → PermissionsAllow. Or Firefox → Settings → Site permissions and allow Camera/Microphone.

If it still doesn’t work
• Close other apps that might be using the camera/mic (e.g., WhatsApp, Instagram, Zoom, FaceTime).
• Check OS permissions: iOS → Settings → [your browser] → Camera/Microphone → Allow; Android → Settings → Apps → [your browser] → Permissions → Camera/Microphone → Allow.
• Pick the correct device in the call UI if there’s a selector.
• Refresh the page and tap Allow when prompted.
• Update your browser and restart your phone.
